Stephen Graham

I was born in Dublin, Ireland, and lived there until the age of 24. I moved then to London, where I completed an MMus at King's College. I currently divide my time between Brussels and London.

I've always been interested in music, though it wasn't until my mid teens that it achieved its current importance to me. I completed a degree in music and philosophy at University College Dublin, and graduated finally with a first-class-honours degree in music in 2006. I'm currently doing a PhD on issues of canon and culture relating to underground experimental music at Goldsmiths College, University of London. This is funded by a scholarship from the National University of Ireland. I taught at King's College, and will teach at Goldsmiths, during the academic year of 2009/10.

I also write for the Journal of Music, and blog at robotsdancingalone.wordpress.com.
